The Eye Behind the Lens

Born and raised on a farm in Central Nebraska, I grew up around cameras. My parents were always documenting life with photos and home videos, and as soon as I was old enough, I wanted to be the one behind the lens. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion for visual storytelling.

After graduating high school, I bought my first professional camera and began pursuing photo and video work more seriously. That path led me to study Media Communications at Doane University, where I continued building my skills, portfolio, and creative voice across a wide range of projects.

I graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications with a film emphasis, and double minors in Film Production and Graphic Design. Through both professional work and major college projects, I’ve filmed and photographed weddings and events, sports content, commercial ads, and live music, while also developing experience in editing, motion graphics, and design.

Today, I work as a filmmaker, photographer, graphic designer, and motion graphics artist, bringing a well-rounded and intentional approach to every project. Whether I’m capturing a meaningful moment or creating polished branded content, my goal is always the same: to create visuals that feel authentic, cinematic, and lasting.
